No problem as Nutrition Advisors’ Network found a solution to easy health consultancy. They have made nutrition advice accessible online using Skype service; you can talk with nutrition experts live online. You can also post on the site and wait for an expert to answer you. Recycled urine for spacemen

Too bad for astronauts, seems like they will be privy to drinking recycled water from their own urine when they're in space. Transportation costs ofcarrying bringing drinking water through space will greatly be reduced if the urine-recycling system is used to extract drinking water. NASA is still finalizing the system to be used for purifying the urine, as there are three systems they are choosing from, or possibly incorporating together, to make the best possible system to recover clean water. So far they're able to recover 92 percent of the waste water to be made drinkable! Hopefully I'll not be around when the time comes for everyone in the world will be needing to drink this kind of water.

New Online Video Site by NBC and Fox

Along with the dozens(or hundreds) of youtube clones comes the new online video site from NBC and Fox. The site will be supported by advertising and will try to seize the viewers' share of youtube. The beta version of the site, hulu.com, is now online. You have to sign up for an account first before using the site. Hulu will host legally(unlike youtube) hundreds of NBC show episodes running currently as well as shows that have finished their run(old shows). It will even show movies, although some ads will be shown(maybe like commercials). One more cool thing: members will even be able to attach episodes to their own blogs!

Chinese Panda takes big bite off boy's leg

15-year-old Li Xitao found his lesson pretty painful when male panda Gu Gu took a huge chunk of flesh from the boy's leg at the Beijing Zoo. The bite was so deep that the boy's bones were even showing! Seems curiosity took the better(or worse) of the boy when he jumped over the 4-ft 7-inch barricade around the panda grounds. Gu gu was in the news before for being bitten by a drunk man, which was in retaliation for Gu gu biting him first.

First TV series in MySpace

You've all probably heard of myspace, or even have an account there. Advertisers have found a new way of displaying their products there, this time by featuring a TV series- Roommates. Sponsored by Ford, this reality show features scantily clad college girls dancing around in skimpy bikinis, certain to pull alot of viewers. Each week there's a new 3-minute episode to watch, which will certainly show some of Ford's new vehicles. This could start a new trend for online advertisers.

Toilet Bowl House

No the person who had the house built isn't crazy. This toilet bowl-shaped house was built in Seoul, South Korea by the Korea Toilet Association founder. He's been a known public official for promoting clean toilets. The house is actually open for rent at $50,000 per day! Most likely it's the most skweaky clean toilet you can live in.

Bomb Explosion in Glorietta

Sad news today. There was an explosion in Glorietta 2 Mall in Makati, killing sofar 8 people and injuring more than a hundred. Although a bomb still isn't confirmed, I don't think LPG tanks exploding would've cause the whole floor to collapse, with the escalators and all. The source of the explosion seems to be the storage room of the Chinese restaurant Luk Yuen noodle house. Let's pray for those who departed and hope that those responsible are caught. Guess we shouldn't frequent malls right away.

Mobile phones in planes?

For people who travel alot, not being able to use mobile phones during air flight can be so inconvenient. Well soon people might be find that it won't be a problem anymore, well at least for European travellers. Mobiles are banned mainly because they can interfere with the plane's communication and navigation systems, but now they have a new system that will be able to prevent the interference. Learn more about it here.

Paypal Philippines can send and receive money!

Good news to everyone in the Philippines! Paypal is now fully functional. You can now send or receive money. Paypal was made available earlier this year in the Philippines, but Philippine accounts were limited in that they can only send payments, but not receive payments. Now that we can also receive payments, Paypal can now make sending and receiving money easier for merchants like ebay sellers, or for people that are into get-paid-to internet programs and paid surveys. Ony way to receive payments through your paypal is to attach it to a bank account. Union Bank is one of the banks here in the Philippines that easily accepts paypal. You just have to apply for a Union Bank Visa account and you can transfer your paypal money to your Union Bank account. Check out their website for more info.
