Fish pedicure

What will they think of next? If you have scaly feet, there a new hit remedy that's been making waves on a local spa. A northern Virginia spa has been offering foot pedicures using carp to nibble away dead skin. Customers who had the treatment found it refreshing and effective. The toothless fish, known as garra rufa or doctor fish, are unable to bite live skin, but feed on dead skin or calluses.

Brangelina Twins' Photos reach up to $16 million

Even live baby twins likely won't reach that much when sold. The bidding war for photos of Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt's baby twins has fetched the price up to $16 million. The much gossiped parents have made a very tight condition though: the magazine that earns the right to post the photos has to promise not to use the nickname Brangelina ever again.

Michael Jackson on Wheels

Check out this disturbing photo of the King of Pop. His back has been so bad he's been forced to travel in a wheelchair. Somehow I'm reminded though of some horror flick when I look at the photo. Take note: he was shot on a Las Vegas bookstore reading "children's" books and CDs, with his kids nearby. He didn't leave the store with his kids.javascript:void(0)

A new way of making extra money in India is using public toilets. Sanitation and hygiene has been a long time problem in the country with people taking a leak almost everywhere out in the open. Now by using a toilet, people can earn near a dollar per month. Authorities are trying to improve physical hygiene by giving incentive to those who use the toilets. At the same time the urine collected is being tested as fertilizer for crops.

Internet safety for children

Is internet safety a major concern for your children? Here's a website that I've come accross: checkmypc. It can help protect children online by checking the PC for porn, misguided actions or affairs, or other stuff. It checks from all the different sources like surfing history, stored files and documents, or installed programs for questionalbe content. It can also be used to check computers of employees who are supposed to be working but are actually doing other stuff on the job. Of course the program should be used with discretion, as overusing it without reason is an invation to privacy. It shouldn't probably be used on older kids who can think for themselves.
