Painting from garbage sells for US $1 Million

Found from a pile of garbage sitting on a New York sidewalk, a missing painting was sold for one million US dollars at Sotherby's auction house. Elizabeth Gibson was just taking a morning walk when she spotted the painting among other trash. The painting was originally bought by a Texas couple in 1977 and stored it in a warehouse, but they found it missing in 1987. The painting has been missing 16 years thereafter, until Elizabeth found it and hanged it on a wall in her apartment.
