All of the garbage he collected are stored in bins on his kitchen and living room. His food wastes were being composted, while he washes the non-biodegradable refuse. Surprisingly his apartment doesn't smell bad at all. Checkout his blog here.

A relative of the 2 children who stole the presents talked with the couple, causing them to discover that the stolen presents matched several extra "new" presents the children had. Studies made by scientists showed that mammals who run away from predators were inborn with the behavior in their brain, and not from experience. By disabling the functions in the brain for the sense of smell, they were able to successfully remove the fear from the mouse.
