Westaff, an employment company, fired a Santa working in an Australian department store for saying "Ho Ho Ho" to customers. The company provides stores with dressed-up Santa, who were instructed to say "Ha Ha Ha" instead of "Ho Ho Ho", because "ho" could also mean a whore in American english, and might offend women. Westaff defended that the company fired him over his attitude, not for his saying of "Ho Ho Ho".
